Last night, my girlfriend and I went to Wonderland to walk about. As we were leaving, we saw this girl dressed in fish net stockings peering over a cab car.

The first thing my g/f says is "Look, a call girl. What's she doing here?". And in all honestly, she does look like one, but I shrugged it off. So we continued walking away.

However, I peered back and noticed she was walking behind us and sobbing. She eventually caught up to us with cellphone in hand, and managed to sobbingly ask us where the closest bus stop is.

Apparently, she went to Wonderland by herself and met some people there. Those people agreed to give her a ride home but had ditched her by the end of the day when she went to the washroom. She had no idea where Wonderland is in relation is Toronto, and thought she was still in the city. After looking at my g/f's expression and plea for sympathy towards her, I decided to give her a ride to Islington and Rutherford. Our house wasn't too far from there, so it wasn't a big deal. We told her to take to bus down Islington to her place.

The whole ride, she kept thanking us but I didn't care. I was looking for one compliment that would be worth more than any monetary value. And I got it. Half way through the drive, she finally said it!

"Your car has a nice purr to it, it's a really really nice car."

Hahahaha, you know you're a car geek when you fish for compliments like that.

You sound like a sucker. :D

Firstly, who goes to Wonderland by themselves?

Secondly, if she managed to get there, how was she originally planning to get home and how could she not know where she was?

And finally... if they ditched her... there was probably a reason. :chuckle

Ah well... glad it turned out well and she didn't kill and rob you or anything. :bana

I do feel a bit suckered, but in all honestly I wouldn't have given a ride had the g/f gave me that look.

And no, she was not. She was 40 pound over emo kid.

But you're missing the point! She complimented me on my car! hahaha

crazycanuck

hmm. 5'6, 160 pounds; around there.

And no, I didn't ask why she was wearing fishnets. It's one of those questions I don't want to know the answer to.

Heh, what would you guys have done? Let the sexual euphemisms start!

I guess you can put it this way, when she took the fish nets off, her legs looked like a smoked ham you might find in a deli.

all the jokes aside,

you did a good thing, and it is always nice to help people out when you get the chance.

it is not being a sucka, it is being a decent person!

so Broli...you drive around looking for "ladies" to help out? I think they call it soliciting...hehehe...j/k...

when I was younger and lived up @ Yonge/19th, a bus came by every 1/2 hr to 45 min...this old man with a pick-up truck would see me waiting for the bus and give me a lift sometime...this was back in the day when ppl actually helped each other for nothing more than just that...

crazycanuck

Although you have a good heart and point Broli. Given the way she was dressed and her body language, majority of people wouldn't have picked her up.

I certainly wouldn't have if not for the g/f's pleading eyes. Not because I'm cruel, but because she COULD've been a hooker and then I'd be in a deep hole. Or she could've been in cahoots with someone around the corner. You never know...

i doubt that you would come accross a hooker at wonderland who would be dressed like a hooker.

i understand the unsavoury way that she was dressed was off putting. and i understand the need to protect yourself as well. it is good to exercise caution in these situations.

sadly there is no way to know anything for sure, and clothes dont make the person. hav to trust your gut in these cases.

only call it that if you get caught. . .

Imagine if she was a hooker and you got pulled over and the cop knew her... He would either think your a John or a Pimp and then accuse our g/f of being a hooker too. Oh that would be priceless...
