Got egged

Last night some kids drove by the iceland skatepark and hucked a bunch of eggs. Lucky(#@$@$@!!) for me 80% hit my car and the other 20% missed a bunch of kids.

So I went to the coin op last night and sprayed the yolk and shells off, but my window was a little down so I have a bunch of shells to get out of my car after work today, I also cleaned up the yolk that got inside.

But here is the problem my car STINKS. Whats the easiest way to get rid of the egg smell?

Anyone have any first hand advice.

But I do hike and snowboard quite a bit, so the car smells like sweat and mud. The car version of Febreeze usually does the trick.

Wow Thats Sucks is the egg smell inside or outside the car.... hopefully kaval can chime in

What sucks more is the scratches.. they look like crop circles, right down to the primer.

I did try google, I have no idea what dettol is (google says its some commercial cleaner)?

I might try the baking soda/lemons though I know what that is.

use some febreeze... it'll hopefully help
just make sure u haven't missed any traces of the yolk

my friends car got shot with a paintball gun once while driving down thomas road and erin mill parkway...

you could try to detail your car yourself and just do a some interior cleaning, maybe carpet cleaning detergent. that should help with most of it and then febreeze it. dont wait too long, egg is nasty

****ing kids, last year in my neighbor hood kids were doing that for a little and they hit a few cars and I was suprised at the damage they cause to paint and can also dent. Makes you want to beat their asses!

I would have kicked there asses!! Or if they were too young to touch I would have picked up the smallest kid and driven the fawker to his house. Once parents answer the door I would have mentioned to them you'll be pressing charges and a police report is going to be done if they don't pay for the damage.

Stupid a$$ kids shouldn't get a slap on the wrist because of this. Get police involved...as for cleaning it I agree Febrezze it. Good luck that's a total piss off!

Problem is I was at the other side of the park when it happened. Some skaters did chase them but they took off in moms mini van.

I had a friend whos car got egged, he found the culprits (too young to beat up) so he took them to there home and made there parents pay for the detailing.

Kids love to brag, and I am at the park a lot so I can probably track them down.

Oh and ya its really surprising the amount of damage an egg can cause. I mean if I caught the kids I could easily get a door respray out of the deal.

dettol is a commercial cleaner. My family uses it to clean tubs and stuff. Very strong smell but smells good IMO.

Hope you can track them down soon cause after it's been cleaned it's going to be hard to prove it to there parents the son/daughter did it.

Lol, this reminds me of the time some punk kids threw a huge mcdonalds cup of pop at my friend and I who were biking. They hit my friend, and he's not the type of person to mess with...we chased them down, they got stuck at a light so my friend keyed up their van pretty bad. He was soaked and pissed. The punks were too scared to even leave the van, haha.

Anyway, I hope you find the idiots. It makes me really mad to read things like this, cause, what if it was my car? I definitely know how you feel.

i remember i was driving down this side road and there were a bunch of apples layin on the side of the road. im like wtf. soo i kept driving and all i hear is thunk thunk. they tthrew a couple of apples at my car. im like wtf so i turn around and thunk thunk again. get out of my car. catch the two kids. put the bikes in my car. take them to their parents house. parents were soo pissed. luckily not that much damage but still. its the fact that these kids get soo bored that they decide why not throw shit at cars. my cousin got caught for throwing rocks at cars on the freeway. guy got on the onramp and took him to the school and told the principal what happened

Baking soda worked, going to give the car a nice hand was tomorrow to get rid of left over yolk on the windows.
