I'm looking for a suburb area with identical (or at least very, very similar) houses for some photos. :loco

Anyone know of any areas like this? I've found suburbs driving around, but all the houses are pretty different. So I guess I'm looking for little communities where all the houses are built and sold by one company or something similar.

That might not be too easy to find in Toronto....I'm quite sure that the city does not allow developers to put identical houses next to each other for this very reason. Cardinal Fang can hopefully elaborate or refute my statement.

Your best bet is to look online for pictures of US suburbs.....talk about cookier cutter.

If you're up in Markham, you could try the Cathedral Town development...it's off Woodbine north of Major Mackenzie on the west side. The street Prince Regent is nothing but identical semi-detached homes. I personally don't understand the appeal of living in such an area but some do.

Hmm, maybe I'll take a drive up to Markham.

I was just driving around this weekend. Saw a row of houses that are identically the same. Although there were only like around 10 of them (probably a little less since I didn't keep count).

If I remember correctly, saw them around Keele St between Eglinton Ave W. and Rogers Rd. If not, try Tretheway Drive. It should be around that general area.

My subdivision is like that (Courtice)....all built by Halminen Homes....pretty much every suburb in my area is like that...

Theres an area in newmarket like that, but its older homes (like 40+ years) but all of them look the same. and like the above poster said about woodbine cathedral town, all the town houses are identical.
