Do you happen to know his contact info?

I am looking to get my brakes done (fully). I ordered Hawk HPS pads online and they should get here sometime next week, but i had the front up on the jack and noticed I need rotors too.

So now im gonna get all new rotors and pads and brake fluid flush. Also rear calipers are sticky so I'll get them serviced as well. I don't think I need SS lines.

I don't mind driving to Markham for quality service.

He did my brakes and rotors. I drove from KW just to see him. Jimmy did my springs, exhaust, pads, fluid and rotors. Love that guy.

I just talked to Jimmy and he said he can do it but only on weekdays, but I usually work long hours.. I've ordered pads, but I need rotors. Any local places that you guys know that sell rotors which are a little better than OEM's? I can live with OEM's but I would rather have one level up. The rest of supplies I can crappytire/NAPA it, fluid and lube.
So anyone who can do on weekends, I might be down. PM me your price (I can work in any currency including case of 24's :))

why do you want a brake fluid flush?? is your fluid black/old? i see no reason to replace it if your just doin pads and rotors?

Well its just something i'd like to get done so I do not have to worry about it. The pedal feels a *bit* squishy so I'd like to firm it up a bit by purging any air in it.
I know I *need* the following:
(1) front rotors replaced
(2) rear calipers lubed
(3) rear pads replaced
(4) e-brake cable tightened

So I'd like to...
(1) replace all rotors
(2) replace all pads
(3) service all calipers
(4) e-brake cable tightened
(5) fluid flush

i have no problem doing your pads and rotors and lubing and cleaning up the sliders...the ebrake cable, to my understanding is self adjusting once you put new pads onit, it will tighten itself up. I know how to do a fluid flush, but as i am not a professional, nor licensed...i do not want to risk that part....so its up to you...

I will see how depending on when I can get parts. Are there stores here which will sell performance rotors or should I just get OEM?

Like i mentioned before, I want something a *little* better than OEM but I dont want it to kill my wallet.

In terms of rotors unless you want to dent the wallet for more than $500 stock rotors are the best. Magnums are essentially the stock rotors but cross drilled and run about the same cost as OEM.

Pads you can get from any of the sponsors on the board Hawk HPS seems to be the best in performance against price. Fluid makes no differance in performance. If you take your car to the track then you may have the potential to increase the operating temperature of your fluid. Stock is DOT3 so you can move up to DOT4, but there is really no differance.

Just reviving a old thread.

Franklin Automasters on Franklin Blvd. The owners Al & Julie have been working on my vehicles for the last 8 years. Whenever I need something fixed I will drive over to him (hour and a half). Very honest and upfront with you. Will not screw you around.

I was gonna say, isn't Franklin in Cambridge.

Anyone worked with Saisen motors? They seem to be the local import tuner in the KW region. They seem to work with some serious JDM rides and as far as I know they're the only shop in the area with a dyno.

and what 90% full of beer?

This is the way all shops should be.

Apparently right next door to where I work is Union Autoclub, but I guess they're hardcore rotary guys and do a ton of custom fab work, not so much of a "garage." They've got some RHD RX7s and Skylines and Silvias/180SXs that I see when I walk out that side of my building here. Kinda neat.
