Official Club Meet - Saturday August 16th at 2:00 PM

I don't know why these have fallen off, but we need to bring them back. The weather has been lowsy and the weekly meets are getting stale. Lets bring the club back to the monthly meets!

This will be a regular meet at the AMC Interchange at 400 and 7.
I know Saturdays do not work for everybody but this is when they always worked best before. The next one will be planned for a Sunday around mid-September.

As always the meets tend to drift off into Boston Pizza, DnB or something else. Hopefully we can pick things and get these meets going strong again!

I spent too long prettying up my car for you guys. I showed up around 4pm and drove around all the parking lots in that plaza looking for the group...:blush

Atleast the lots were mostly empty and I got to test out the Vibrant strut bar...my verdict...meh.

On the other hand, it is dissapointing when people post up and not show. Come on guys, we are not kids, don't tell people you "fell asleep". Lame! Have the decensy to let people know if you can or cannot show up. A simple phone call or text is all that's needed.

I just meant as a whole, it's been a little light in attendence this summer at almost all the meets........maybe there's just to many meets or like I mentioned the weather hasn't been great this summer so; when it is nice, I guess people would rather spend their time doing other things moreso then attending meets.

The weather forecast looks pretty awesome for the next couple of weeks....like summer is finally here :chuckle ....so hopefully it picks up! :)

Don't worry big guy, no harm was said. LOL. This year has been pretty bad with attendance. 2008 is a year to forget with all the bad weather we have received. Lets hope 2009 is a little better.

I brought this meet up with the admin team before posting it and set the date to a poll. Unfortunately the weekend that was agreed upon was when I had plans and I could not make it. But because I couldn't make wasn't going to be a reason not to have it.

These meets use to be the consistent meets bringing out 20-30 cars on average. I guess with the weather, gas prices and the amount of mini-meets these are a thing of the past. We might try setting up another for Sept to see if these will happen again but undecided at the moment.
