I'm likely going to install Kenwood KFC-P680c 6x8 speakers in the front next week at Audio Heaven.
I'll be doing a straight swap for front speakers only to start. Will then swap rears and add an amp in the future (as disposable income become available), as I want to keep the stock HU.
It may be some time before I add an amp so in the meantime, does anybody have any experience with them as a straight swap? How are they? How is the sound compared to stock? Recommended?
Also, I'm told I can keep the stock tweeters connected or disconnect them after the install. Recommendations? I don't know what would be better without hearing the difference.
