Hey Team,

Wanted to post a detailed review and overview of the work I had completed today by Strictly Details - Now known as Custom Details.

The Task: Full Brake overhaul including Rotors and Pads.

The over all process id give a (B-)

Customer Service id give a (B)

Considering what I have read on the boards I have to say I was a little reluctant but considering the overall convenience of being right beside Selective Sound I thought id give them the benefit of the doubt.

Here are some Before Pics:

As you can see they were pretty bad.

The ordering of the parts was fine - Brendon who works there was helpful and knowledgeable and Recommended a slotted rotor and EBC Pads "Green Stuff".

Now this I cannot hold them to blame but the parts took a little long to get into the shop. When they read this I hope that this is something they can work on by addressing this with their suppliers.

One thing that I feel they need to really look into is their level of customer service and attention. This makes or breaks any organization in my opinion and is in my opinion the most important thing to me. Now I don't think its the fact of not giving good customer service I think its just a resource issue. So I'm just shaving off some points there cause I'm sure they could have put fourth a little more effort of the art of the follow up.

Now one thing that impressed me was that when I came in to pay for my parts they had agreed to install them right there on the spot. Not many places are willing to do this without a pre-arranged appointment. So thats a big boost to the points.

They did a really through job to make sure the job was done right and reassured me that if anything doesn't feel or sound right to call and bring it back for them to look at.

So overall i enjoyed the experience. Ill post a follow up review to see hwo the brakes settle in. It looks as if this garage is taking a turn for the better. I encourage those of you looking for some small work to be done to give them a try and see how they have improved.
