If you have little or no track experience, Ian Law Racing School is a very good school.
Instructors will help you work on lines, vision, double clutching, and other skills.

Yes, I'd recommend this school. I know half the instructors. I'm thinking I might try and make this for the lapping section.

I am going to DDT but on the 1st. Maybe a lesson would be good but its sort of expensive. I am sure it is worth it though

mmm, I didn't really think about the date. I can't make this one as Monday is my Mom's birthday so I'm helping her around the house on Sunday.

What a day at the track...gorgeous weather (good temps!), TPC/ILR were gracious host as always, with an all you can eat burgers/sausge/hot dog lunch with salads and even watermelon! Water and pop as well...good deal @ $130 for a full day's lapping.

We ran counter clockwise this time...and on my first session out, I was lapping at about 1:21.x min. Going clockwise previous, and with more infield/low-speed turns, I was doing 1.26.x so I knew there was much room for improvement...so after chasing some verterans around, this is the MaxQData log from my best session:

one highlight of the day was Fobio commenting on the ability of the non-speed 3 to induce "power-on oversteer" :chuckle

my best time was a 1:20.4 on a lap where my goal was to catch up to "track doctor's" modded 350Z (another vid that i'll post later).

always a good time with the TPC crowd...looking forward to getting one more lapping day with them later this year.
