Alright, with the lack of 07 grills out there (SSG, get your ass on it! haha), I was getting really sick of my front.

So I decided to do a quick paint job. Crappy camera phone pics; it looks better in person. Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you like it, you can use it as an interim grill until they start producing nice 07 sedan grills.

Painted a trim around the grill and emblem; also a trim around the bottom grill. All in red.

What do you guys think? I removed my front license plates while I was at it. Will mount plate on grill.

Weird? I can see them fine.. I like the Q-tip stylus, nice touch man!
I'm surprised you haven't cut out the honey-comb and kept it open-mouthed..

You know, I thought about that.

My plan was to originally paint every chrome part body colour. But it's been over done and wanted to try something new instead.

Heh, didn't want to take out the bumper for a trim paint. So I had to be really careful not to get any paint on the bumper.

Toothbrush was too big, but the Q-tip worked wonders!

One of my fears is a rock flying into my engine bay, so I'm out with the honeycomb there for now.

heh. Good thing about DYI on cheap material is: if you don't like it, sand it down and start over!

hahaha, maybe.

It's a divided mix, some people that have seen it think it makes the car look real sporty. Others think it's a big tacky and unclean.

Will try to get better pics to do it more justice.

Personally I like the new chrome style on the 07s as opposed to the black ones on the older models.
