Not going to lie, I have been doing some serious creepage around the forum for a couple weeks.

I am proud to say by the end of this week I officially will have grasp the beast by it's horns. A brand new 2008.5 Mazda 3 Sport GT LP from Westowne Mazda.

The wait is truly agonizing. But at least I got my car before my buddy who got a black coupe 2008 Civic, apparently there are NONE in North America!

Anyways don't wanna make my rant too long on the first post. But I'll have some pics up.

P.S. I think putting the bra on the new whip could've been a bad idea? :whoa

Nothing wrong with a car bra, just make sure it clear (3M type) and not leather (puke).

Thanks for the warm welcomes. I'm going to make sure it's a clear 3M bra.

The car comes in today, gonna go check it out before they do the tints, undercoat, and throw in the bra.

Apparently they don't have a clear bra, they only have smoked (black?), wack!

I think he is refering to the 3M protection film that you stick to the front of the car (bumper, lights and hood) This protects the car against stone chips. Expensive, but effective.

Actual bras that strap onto the front of the car are bad ideas, as they basically sand the clear coat and paint underneath.

you mean this is bad for the car?

That's not a bra... lol, its a hood deflector. No, those are not bad. The only issue I found (with my old Sentra) was that the clips dig through the paint into the metal, exposing it. But they are great at deflecting some small rocks and bugs, but thats about it.

heh it's like a massive bra (front mask) that covers your front bumper + grill of your car. I think it kills the overall look of it.
