This may seem like a stupid question, but here goes...:blush
Somehow, a spider has worked its way into one of my tail lights and is laying inside the housing. Is there any way to get inside there to vacuum him out?

bahaha wtf ... If you do find an opening, get a straw, shove 'er in ... then put your vacuum up to the straw.
Probably the best bet is to take out the light

How the heck did a spider work his way into there??? I would definately not open up the lense to get out a spider. Take out the tail light. If you have a can compressed air for cleaning keyboards, just put the nozzle through the bulb opening and next to the spider and blast it. The flow of air will come out through the bulb opening and hopefully take the spider out with it. Just watch out that it doesn't blow onto your face and then seek revenge :complain

Got one in my lamps before. Had one of the guys in the shop take a blow gun to the inside of it. Problem was the spider blew into a bunch of pieces.

You could try rinsing the spider out... you would need to use something that would avoid leaving water spots, like distilled water

LOL... Let off the pressure a little bit and that won't happen. Funny though :chuckle

I am having this problem now so I'm bringing the thread back to life!
Any solutions to this problem? I tried a straw and a skewer and both don't work. There aren't really any holes that you can reach outside the light housings and into the empty space.

I had a similar problem with the non-led tails before I switched to LED. Check it out for reference:
