Hey guys,

So most of you know I have Tein Coilovers. They have been great, and I love them, but recently the Endlinks decided to go. The clunking noise was too much, so I went to Mazda and grabbed a set of OEM ones. They didnt fit.

After inspection, I noticed that the Tein's came with their own endlinks. They are thin, and not even as nice as OEM ones. Problem is, they are SHORTER than stock! So that leaves me sourcing a set directly with Tein.

Tein is usless on the phone. I talked to several people and most will insist the coilovers do not come with endlinks. I finally got someone who acknowledged they did come with them, and I could order them for around $60 + shipping.... yikes!

After talking dimensions with Tein, measuring OEM specs, and talking with Tony of AWR we decided to try a set of AWR adjustables. The Mazda3 set will NOT fit! It is not able to go small enough. However, the Protege ones will!!! :bana2

After using them for a few weeks, I am confident to say that the AWR endlinks are great, and fit properly.

Right on, congrats on keeping the cost down and outsourcing parts that are more easily accessible.

AWR links are way better than the OEMs or Teins, and not much more :)

Wow quite the issue there, but quite the setup.

Yeah... was a large hassle. Good thing my best friend works at Agincourt lol.

Hope it helps someone else having the issue with fit :)

so you changed front and back? cost?

I'm looking at the AWR endlinks for MS3, but Jimmy says that clunking may be worsened because of the increased metal-to-metal contact of aftermarket endlinks, but will be less likely to bend/break...

I'm hearing there will be another set of endlinks available for the MS3 fairly soon if you can wait :)

Not sure the cost, since I ordered a while back and forget. I have heard complaints of increased noise, but its not near as bad as the blown endlink clunk.... if anything there is a very slight sqeak :)

I dont have the rears in yet. Only the fronts are Protege links. Rears are fine since they dont attach to the Teins :)
