So here I am folks, just over 6 months ago I was in between cars and driving a 1998 burgundy Corolla LE (can it get any more "family" or nostalgic?), listening to Daft Punk from 1997, with a 2007 iPhone plugged thru the FM...to now, just 6 months into the proud ownership of the 2008 Cosmic Blue Mica Mazdaspeed3, with just over 20K on it...what a ride it's been so far, and I'm happy to have been sharing my exploits with the car, with everyone on here! Why? Because you guys have been the most useful resource a guy can have about his Mazda/Mazdaspeed3 in Canada!

This is my 1000th post, and I'd like to start a thread to show our love for TM3...if each of us can list 10 things we like/love about TM3, we'll easily hit over 1000!

Here's my Top Ten for TM3:

10. Vendors' info and group buy pricing
9. A friendly environment where noobs aren't treated too harshly for being noobs
8. A surprisingly large amount of local experts ready to lend a word of advise or a hand
7. Nice local photography (we have nice cars, good photgraphers and pretty pretty accesssories to go with them...)
6. Admins and mods who are receptive to the board's requests
5. Easy to use layout, once you play around and familiarize yourself with the options available
4. Enough freedom to voice our concerns regarding local shops, vendors and dealerships to resolve issues
3. Minimal fanboy-ism
2. MGM for effectively enforcing the "Search" feature without being obnoxious like some experts and veterans

and...

1. Hooking me a up with a bunch of car nuts who likes to drive as much as I do and have fun doing it safely! I love our Tracking/Handling section! :hawt

So again...my sincere appreciation to TM3, the admin team and every member I've met or chatted with...you guys rock!

TM3 FT-M-F-W!!!

First off, congrats on the 1000th post.

Second, this is a great idea. I'm sure we all have way more than 10 things we love about TM3, but we'll just have a hard time prioritizing them! I do encourage everyone to do this, and show some love for the group that we all call home. I'm sure the mods don't get enough praise for keeping us all in line and this board running as well as it does.

I also want to encourage the type of behaviour that members find rewarding and pleasing about their mods...

When I bought my car I promised my wife that I'm not doing any changes to the car anymore. Well, what do you know? I joined this forum. In an instant, my promise was officially broken. Being in this forum, we get to get a lot of suggestons/ideas on what we can and can't do to our cars. All of us here love cars. We love nice cars even more. Seeing a nice car and getting in, driving it feels even better. I like how members are frank to tell you that what you have in mind sucks so you don't go ahead and do it and look like an ass. Ask your questions here and members are more than happy to answer. A really tight group.
