I honestly have never felt any torque steer what so ever.
I drive my MS3 mostly on weekends on city road and sometimes on highways.. I do enjoy 'spirited' driving once in a while (really, it is hard not to).

That article is a load. The power is awesome and the handling is amazing. The author should stick to driving his mothers civic rather than writing articles.:AH

i can go on a flat road and punch it in second gear with my hands off the wheel and it will spin the tires and go straight.
are there some road conditions with dips/potholes etc. that fwd cars grab at sure but its not bad at all imo.
Well James, your car is lowered, wider tires etc. :chuckle

mine torque steers all the time, You really have to watch out when you stomp on it. Im used to it so I have a good grip but when someone else drives it they are up for a good surprise ;) I remember some saying "I didnt think this car had that much power!"
do not under estimate the Zoom-Zoom :chuckle

I also notice the torque steer - especially a stomp in 2nd gear (sometimes in 3rd) - as for too much power? If it did, I wouldn't have gotten a CAI and be "patiently" waiting to get a turbo inlet, DP, possibly exhaust, etc etc etc :)
it's the same question as asking someone " do you have too much money?" LOL....

^^^ zactly what I think...tho theoretically, once we start hitting 400whp at the front, then it MAY be too much for a street car...
and like money, women, power, land, $$$....:chuckle
Torque steer? Yes. It's hard to avoid it in a 263hp FWD car. However, Mazda's torque management system have minimized the impact as much as they could already.
Too much power? Nope, I wish there's more ;)

Have you dynoed it yet? There is a mysterious shortage of dyno information about this car for some reason?

Don't worry about that. I know what this car puts down.

Well I have seen some dyno numbers that are not all that flatering. Why dont we put together another dyno day and for $35, you can be sure that I will be there. There must be a few members that want to see what the access port has done for them.

How is +40whp and +50wtq not flattering for just intake and exhaust?? UOU dyno'd 231whp and 241wtq stock, 275whp and 294wtq with just a CAI and TBE.
Back when I had my Probe GT, 15whp and 10wtq with CAI and full exhaust was considered a good gain.

Well since you put it that way, I have the same car and more than UOU's listed mods not skimping on the cheaper junk parts and made 252 hp and 271 tq to the wheels. So I question the butt dyno numbers! Like I said, lets set up a group dyno and we can all put our money where our mouth is!

Here is a video of a dyno jet dyno which at the end there is a chart with 3 mazdaspeed 3's with various unnamed mods all making in the 250 whp range. At 15% drive train loss that makes 288 hp to the crank.
