Strange sight just now with a G35..bit scary

I was driving on High Tech Road, some of you guys in York Region may know this street, getting out of my neighborhood just now and I get to a small intersection. I stop.

I see this black G35 slowing down but as it was accelerating around the corner it jerked, as if someone was downshifting and dropped the clutch (Probably what they did).

Anyhow, this G35 starts smoking, well first the right tire anyway. At first I didn't think it was the tire as I started off the green light, and I was behind it so I switched lanes.
Right after driving it, the G35 starts oversteering and I glance at the driver and notice the guy seemed happy almost.

It goes up the curb back down oversteers some more on the road, people are panicking a bit now all pulled to the center turning lanes, and I come to another intersection. I made a U and got out of the way.

Anyhow, it ended up at that corner (of the intersection I was parked at).

On my way home just now though, theres 3 cop cars, and a etf (swat?) SUV there as well. I think the driver ran or something or maybe a stolen car who knows.

The 2 right wheels of the shiny G35 are both 45 degrees from the road...:S

To be honest, it looked like he was just trying to eff up the car....1st gear stomping the gas down all the way. This was in a straight line, so I have no idea why he would try to "drift". more like going 5KM/h straight, on 1st gear with gas all the way down and fish tailing back and forth.

just out of curiosty, did it have (19") chrome wheels, a exhaust, and tints?

he must have turned VDC off. that car is damn restrictive with those electronic aids on by default, you can't do much to it unless its all off. If it was stolen the thief probably won't know where the button is...its hard to find.

I think the car was ditched...no driver, and I don't want to assume but I do remember a tow truck guy running after a who I "assume" (:chuckle) is the driver....

The axels were dead. The wheels were attached but obviously just collapsed.



And no the G35 was quite stock looking to me.
