my right front strut is apparently leaking...any ideas?? this car is already costing me my arms and my legs:flaming

are you sure its the strut and not the motor mount? The motor mount on that side is oil filled or atleast fluid filled

If it is indeed your front right strut, I had the exact thing happen to me. If you are going to replace it, stay away from the dealer, I believe I got quoted $3XX+ for the one corner, parts and labour. I say upgrade your suspension to the MS ones (see Joe) for $1XX+ more you can replace all four corners. Get them installed by Jimmy and you'll be good to go!

Will it last that long? The cold might cause the seal to give way completley.

At the very least, ask Jimmy or a mechanic you trust to look at it and see if they think it will last for the winter. I suspect your struts will be working hard when the snow gets packed and rutty.
It's easy to check the motor mount. Just lift the hood and rub your hand around the mount.
