Who plays GRID on PC or PS3?
It's a pretty good game, considering that GT5 is never coming out...I've been banging away at it a bit on the computer...anyone else?

I did the PC demo, but I find it near impossible to play car games on PS3 / PC without a steering wheel's and pedals... I got very frustrated with using a controller and un-installed it lol.

For sure man...I just did some maintenance on my orig MOMO red wheel and it's alright...but yeah, racing on controller/keyboard are for kiddies...hehe...
I'm wondering if ALL of the logitech wheels work on the PS3...if so, I'm gonna get the retail version for PS3 instead of the PC...in fact, might try the wheel with the PS3 demo tonight...

I've got the old MOMO wheel as well. It worked for GT3 (Maybe GT4?) but didn't work with the NASCAR game I tried it on. Might be touch and go.
I played the demo for GRID and think I'll buy the full game sometime. I managed to win the Bimmer and Mustang races, but I'll be damned if I can control the car in the drifting competition!

Actually, that was the one I did the best in, lol... I couldn't keep the car on the track for long enough in the non-drift competitions to finish them. I'm getting angry @ the game again just remembering my frustration. :chuckle

I have it for Ps3.
Got just over half the trophies, but I love trying to make spectacular crashes and then watching them in the replay..lol.

Just tried the MOMO wheel for GRID's PS3 demo...no go...unless I can get it to work (I think it works with GT HD), I'll stick with the PC version...
I'd prefer to have it work on my PS3 and home theater system...it sometimes crashes on the PC version...
EDIT: Wheel works with GT HD on PS3. I wonder if the full retail version of GRID might have Logitech drivers included...

Like I said... I couldn't drift to save my life! I can't even get the damned things started (on purpose) much less try to get it close to the cones.
It didn't take me long to win the other two races though, and they were great fun!
This thread is making me want to buy the full game now...
I play the NASCAR and GT games on my PS2 with just the regular controller. At my PC, sitting at my desk with the pedals on the floor and the wheel clamped down, I love it. I can't say the same though for trying to balance the wheel on my lap with the pedals on the floor in front of my sofa. I imagine it's easier with a wheel meant to go on your lap...

Hey man...I know exactly what we need...just waiting for it to come out...trust me, I've been thinking about modding the coffee table...lol...this is just the stand, but might consider that wheel down the road...
