Hey, i got got rid of my acura legend 90 and bought a used 04 mazda 3 GS Sport 2.3 and thinking maybe I should throw in a turbocharger. Any input in this? where do i get one? whats a good one? whats the cost? Should i get one. things like that would be great help to me. I hear turbos reduce the reliability a lot. :O

Search is your friend! Click on the search link above, type in "turbocharger" in the keywords section and press enter...
But to help you out, here is a sticky post in the "Engine and Drivetrain" section you should have already reviewed...

To answer your questions:
- Yes
- A few sources. Search here and mazda3forums.com FI sections
- A good Turbocharger? Garrett, IHI, Turbonetics etc. You get what you pay for with these. Steer away from cheap eBay units. Some are as bad as being epoxied together! :whoa
- Cost... of a turbo or the whole project? Turbo - $750 and up new
roughly. Whole kit, and all accessories $4500 and up. Plus install.
- Yes
Turbos, when installed correctly should not impact reliability much at all.
Buy and read: Maximum Boost by Corky Bell.

I wouldn't assume turbo will affect you in the winter as it only gives you extra power.

Just dont stomp on it. More power means its easier to spin the tires.... drive sensibly and your fine. Most of the MS3 guys winter drive. You'll ba around the same numbers as that, so your fine.
