Well, I was at Jimmy's Thursday and got my motor mount installed. Good thing I did. Sorry for the crappy web cam pictures, have no real camera till a week from now. Basically, there's an inch long crack in the rubber of my stock mount. No wonder my engine felt like a wet fish in the engine bay lately. I was at 35,899kms when I replaced the mount, '08 MS3.

Yep, $30. Jimmy gets it done in 20 minutes flat.

glad you grabbed the mount esp with all the driving you do...and I'd agree that it should be one of the first things to change for this car...hard to describe to someone who believes that the stock mount is "the way it should be" tho...anyway, the car deserves it!...so do you!

wow good timing..had mine changed at the dealer but went with the SU after a few weeks just to be safe and the car does drive alot better with the SU mount so it's worth the $$..

Just curious, how specifically does the SU engine mounts change the way the car drives? In which respects specifically?
