Just so im clear, id like to hear what the difference between the 2 are. I realise Cold air will obviously be picking up colder air than the ram air. But how does the power change between then 2?

Does ram only improve bottom end power and reduce as you rev?

Ive been reading the cai helps throughout the entire rpm range.

CAI - increase in power throughout entire powerband
SRI - increase in low end torque

someone correct if i'm wrong

if u dont mind dishing out the extra cash, get the CAI...I have the K&N which can be used as either CAI or SRI; I definately prefer the CAI. I found the SRI to perform worse and have less gas mileage than the CAI...The CAI gives some decent kick at the low end and picks up after 100km/h on the top end--you really notice it, especially if u punch it...i did alot of highway driving and I definitely enjoyed the extra airflow to allow me to pass the dodge caravans doing 90km in the left lane with their blinker on...

i dont have any dyno stats to back up my claims, this is jus my first hand experience (i did about 15,000km driving in the last couple months; about 5000km with the SRI and 10,000 with the CAI)

Ill take your word for it Cash money. You and everyone else seem to say the exact same thing. Im leaning towards the Fujita f5 or the AEM CAI. AEM claims 11 hp.. i find that hard to believe however im sure its atleast a 7hp increase. Either way it will sound nice :chuckle

yea im sure u'll like it! sounds great and gives u some functionality as well. i would actually suggest the K&N as you have the option of doing either CAI or SRI, i plan on going SRI in the winter to be safe (probably not necessary).

got it from one of the sponsors here: cta patrique. he gave me an amazing price! i dont wanna say wat it is because he was having a special at that time. but ask him, im sure he will hook u up. all i will say is that canadian tire and other retailers wanted ~$370 and he beat it by alot.
