Many rumours have been spreading around about the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) will eat earth by 2012 with a black hole. If true, thanks to the FxxKIN scientist. Have anyone heard about this?? Here is one of the link about this LHC.

and here is a youtube clip.

Hope I didn't scare anyone.

Yea, they are a bunch of idiots.. no idea why the hell they would create something so cynical with no idea of how much power it is capable of or even any idea of what will happen.. dumb-asses..

So, btw one more thing.. why on God's green Earth would these retards have this machine or try to use it? Honest to fu*king God, if they are predicting and estimating and they think they know EXACTLY what will happen, which will be they will destroy our Earth, are they doing this, and are being allowed to do this?
Should this Hard-On thing even exist? I'm not scared or anything, but wtf is wrong with people? Are they that frikkin' bored?
Who cares about how the Earth was made, or how it came to.. its here.. on its own.. so screw off.. its amazing how people have the power to literally destroy the world..
This, and nuclear weapons..
Bunch of freaks.

it's science people.....they're are trying to find answers to questions no one has ever answered before...learn about something that is FAR beyond our ability to comprehend without such tests....i'm personally very interested to see how the results turn out...IF!!!!!!!!!!!!!....IF IF IF IF IF.....this has the capability to destroy the earth....none of you will have any time to complain anyway.....but there will always be skeptics
and besides...the Big Bang is a THEORY...they don't even know if it actually happened, it is only supported by gathered evidence and theories developed based on that evidence....no fact involved

The reactions taking place in the LHC occur on Earth in the upper atmosphere thousands of times in a year. If one of those reactions could end the Earth, it would have done so already.
Even barring that, the whole "it creates a black hole" thing is hogwash. Black holes are super-massive, super-dense space anomalies. For the LHC to create one that could suck up the Earth is nigh-on impossible: LHC is causing only a few particles at a time to collide. If one of those reactions were somehow able to create a black hole, chances are it would collapse in on itself long before it destroyed the planet (a matter of microseconds, most likely).
There's nothing to fear from this machine, unless you're standing in it :)
I think particle is way to big of a term for what they're accelerating.
They're talking about a SINGLE proton. My biggest fear, is that the 2 colliding protons will bond with other atoms after the collsions, and cause a mass release of energy equating to a nuclear explosion - And that, in my eyes is the WORST case senario. No black holes or end of the world senarios! When they first tested the A-bomb, they had a fear that the superheated air would start a reaction that would burn all the oxygen on the planet. People are natuarally afraid of what they don't understand - And i won't even pretend i understand. it still facinates the hell out of me though! :-D I'm excited. Warp drive here we come!, lol.
Anyone ever play Half Life? and Half Life 2?
yep.

Human nature is to have curiosity. Yes there are bad things that come about as a result of this but the vast majority of things that result is good. You can't have the good without the bad.
Everything you have in life as a convenience has come as a result of human evolution and because one person along the way said "Why?" Once you understand that question you have the knowledge base to evolve and benefit mankind. Although, I don't understand everything they are trying to accomplish I am intrigued by it.
I'm even more intrigued by the conspiracy theorists who are predicting the end of the world. The internet has given every TOM, DICK and HARRY a platform to spout off on anything and people take it as Gospel.
And yes I realize the irony of using this internet medium as a means of decrying it. :chuckle

Wow, this would make an awesome movie plot.
Seriously, scientist are pretty darn smart. This sort of experiment has been going for decades now and we're still here, so they've made a bigger contraption, so what. Just mean they'll be able to collide more particles together.

if anyone needs a good lie and excuse to make love for the last moment of human existance. This is it.

funny....my grandfather is one of those scientist that some of you guys are bashing.
he is currently in geneva.
yes it is true that the collider is capable of creating an environment that could potentially lead to this planet's destruction (even though that has not been proven and it won't be unless someone decides to stage that experiment). however, just because something is capable of destroying the earth doesn't necessarily mean that it will. i'm pretty sure that the US nuclear power combined is quite capable to create a similar effect, but it still hasn't happened.

Im pretty sure there was a movie, with aliens alike warms and they would eat the planet earth. Does this make sence? lol

speaking for myself, I didn't mean for my words to be interpreted as bashing scientists who are working on the Collider, or who are affiliated with it; i meant it as bashing the people who think the LHC will destroy the world.
I don't actually think it has the capability to do so, but you're closer to the experiment than I am, so perhaps I'm wrong in that regard; still, it's foolish for the general public to decry something like the LHC as a Doomsday device simply because people don't understand it.

Seriously though, I have to wonder how someone with enough smarts to put together a video has no clue why a rainbow is visible in water spray. PLEASE tell me this is a hoax!

lol, same reason 5_Alive thinks humans should stop learning and just accept the Earth for being here.
