haha, I wish!! my home PC is still running Windows 2000 believe it or not! I got XP on my laptop so I'll have to see how it looks on my laptop tomorrow LOL

well when I was on a PC with Win 2000 last night, the user name of the person who started this thread appeared as 3 weird looking boxes. Today, on my machine with Win XP, it still looks like 3 weird boxes but the box in the middle has become a circle with a '1' inside it.

I don't have Vista on any of my machines (I will only switch when Service Pack 3 or 4 comes out LOL) so I don't know if it would show up differently on that OS.

You can't see it because you are missing the font. Some of the newer OS's have more system fonts and those characters only show up when that specific font is available.
