Hi Guys,

Just picked up my new 09 Black Mica Mazda 3 GT w/Luxury on Saturday, from Kieswetter in Kitchener. Had windows tinted by dealer also, looks great.

Thanks to this site, I setup the sirius sat radio right away no problem, and so far I am pretty happy with the car. I was going to change the antenna out for a sharkfin, but it came with a short stubby antenna for the sat radio, can I still put on a sharkfin it will work with the sirius?

I will also be looking into installing LED Foglights to match the OEM HID Xenons, and probably in the spring, get some new rims / performance tires after i've used up the ones that came with the car.

As for the sharkfin, I'm not sure it will fit over the sirius base receiver, and even if it does, I think it'll muck up your reception a fair bit. Too many wire coils in the sharkfin probably interfere with the signal. I think the stubby looks better anyway, but that's a whole other debate :)

I went as dark as legal allows, so 35% on fronts, 20 on rear windows.

Was passing a slow mini-van in a 70 zone, hit 100 km while passing, ouch.

same here i got pulled over TWICE last month, fortunately i was let off the hook. no tickets and demerits :)....i wont push my luck anymore, im trying to follow the speed limit, sometimes its just the flow of traffic that dictates.... anyways, enjoy your new car.

Yep, I rarely speed, except to pass slow moving mini vans lol, now I will be more cautious, I am gonna argue it down hopefully to no points.

The zoom-zoom was definitely a factor ;)
