Melamine in protein supplements...?

Has anyone who is taking protein supplements, stopped taking it until it has been cleared of melamine contamination? Supposedly the Cdn gov't is investigating it but who can wait/trust them until it is too late... I did get kidney stones before and it is not a pleasant experience at all...

Well I just e-mailed GNC and some other brand which I forget the brand name off-hand... on the website they both promised answers within 24 hours... GNC.com (not .ca because that one is crappy) replied and were elusive... GNC said to give the customer service line a call for further info... naturally I wanted an email, as proof, for whatever answer they gave... i asked in the emails whether their source of whey protein came from China or not...
