I just ran across these on M3F, they're vinyl overlays for the side/rear reflectors, as well as the 3rd brake light.

I was just wondering if anyone had these here. They look VERY dark, which I don't mind, I'm just worried about the 3rd brake light not emitting enough light. Does anyone have any experience with these? They're $19 for the set of 5, so I may do it anyways, but I was either going to do this or the 3GFX reflector black out (Already have the SafeTape, just waiting to actually do it). What are peoples' take on these? They are getting great reviews.
He has "blacked out" and "smoked", which is just lighter. Anybody have opinions/experience?
EDIT: Mods, if this is in the wrong section (MZ3 General Lounge, maybe?), please move!

What colour is your car? Did you get the 3rd brake light, too? Do you have any pics? Do the reflectors still reflect?
How long did it take to get them from time of paying?

my car is sunlight silver, no i just got the 4 reflectors, i already have the axela sticker brake light which matches
i'll take some pics this weekend as for reflecting not too sure since i just put them on a week ago but they do look sexy =)
probably took like 4-5 business days
IMHO, its to dark. The reflectors don't exactly reflect all that well, and in the end its still transparent enough to see red. Safetape is a full on cover and reflects better. Plus it reflects white, which I personally like better.

Thanks for the pic and for the input (both you and 3GFX...). I will think long and hard about this... haha
I would rather just paint/tint them. They would reflect better and you would not have to worry about peeling, bubbling or even a jagged cut.

Do they still reflect after being tint-sprayed? I don't think they'll even look black.
I put like 8 coats of that tamiya "smoke" spray on my rainguards (a terrible experience, mind you) and it still looks like stock. What a waste of two cans, $20, time and blood.

I don't think they'd reflect at all after tinting... But the reflectors aren't required by law, so that doesn't really matter, I guess...

I ordered a set of these overlays.
But I think I will pick up SafeTape too, because I know it still reflects; opposed to the overlays diminishing the effect.

mleblond does them now. Go to his sponsor section (Seche Media) and I'm sure you'll see the thread about it.
