So i've been reading the forums for almost a week now and i decided I should at least register and start asking the pros like thebiz some questions to help my decision making process. I've found this online community to be very organized and i've already learned so much by spending countless hours on here to learn about the m3.

I'm a 22 yr old from mississauga and i just graduated and finally got a job downtown. I start work on the 14th but i still cant help but do research on what car I'm going to buy. after some test drives and a little bit of research here and there the mazda 3 GT really stood out from the rest. a car that looks sporty and gives great performance for its price. I'm thinking of buying used, maybe a 2005? my budget is 12,000 and I've certainly found a few in that range but not in the colours that i wanted (Red, White or black).

anyways I'm sure you'll be hearing more from me as I'm still learning and hope to soon be a m3 owner.

welcome aboard and congratulations on the new job!

Word of advice (if I may) don't be too eager to spend money on high ticket items now that you are starting a new job...wait till you at least get through the 3 month probationary period that most companies have. This way you will be more secure in your job and money flow. :)

But since you are looking for a used car and have a fixed budget, it sounds like you know what you are doing.

*/end lecture LOL

exactly what my dad's been saying haha. You definitely have a point though. I mean im' taking the train to get to work anyway but i just want a car to get to the train station as the bus schedules are horrid. I know I can suck it up for a few weeks or months though but these prices just seem really good to me. Maybe its just me but are they dropping like crazy? probably because of the economy? I cant help but feel like i should buy now before they go back up again!
