Hey everyone!

I signed all the papers today and I am now an owner of an Electric Blue 2009 Mazda3 Sport GS! The car hasn't arrived yet but I'll be on my toes till it comes!

TheBiz was very helpful, but unfortunately I was not able to buy from him. I was getting over quoted at another dealer, and I tried to contact Jeff multiple times on Saturday, but he must have been busy with costumers all day. But I am really grateful for his help.

I'd love to meet other owners at local meets, hopefully located in Mississauga. :D

Some bad news... the dealership says they don't have the color I want and that they need to get it made and shipped from Japan. They estimate it will take 4 - 6 weeks. And we specifically stated we needed the car within 3 weeks, because my family needs the car urgently. :bang

Check with another dealership, like MoT, or Oakville Mazda see if they have the car. If so, make another deal.

A quick warning for those considering Erin Mills Mazda...

Originally we were told that we'd get the car in under 3 weeks and they even assured us they wrote it down on paper. Turns out they didn't. Now they tell us we have to wait 6 weeks, as they are out of all Mazda3 stock and they have to order straight from Japan. This time we had them write down on paper that we'd get a car in less 6 weeks, or we'd be given a loaner. Since our grace period is over, we can't cancel the deal.

So if anyone is looking for a Mazda, go straight to Jeff 'TheBiz'. He's honest, and won't waste your time.

You know Jeff, I really did get lucky by being able to get out of that lease with Erin Mills Mazda.

So I am told that my car will be available tomorrow at 3 pm for pick up. I hope everything goes well *touch wood*, after a long and frustrating process. Immediately after getting the car, I'll be taking it to Krown Lakeshore for rustproofing.

Once I get the car and everything is cool, I'll post up my experience/review of Erin Mills Mazda. Until then I don't want to jinx myself.

I have a question for all you experienced Mazda owners and car owners. What things should I be checking and inspecting as soon as I get the car? (I've searched the forum for threads related to this topic, but couldn't find anything).

I picked up the car today. Everything went smooth. The car was equipped with everything I expected and in the condition I expected. Immediately took it to Krown Lakeshore to do rustproofing. So it's kind of murky right now from the water residue. I will be doing 3M protection film this weekend hopefully, and after that I'll give it a wash and post up pictures! :D

haaaaaaaaaa same thing happened to me when I was shopping for my 3
I really wanted a white one and Ontario Mazda said they cant find anymore white, manual GT/GFX. I went to Erin Mills and they ASSURED me they would get the car I wanted after I told them Ontario Mazda has checked all dealer inventory and they couldnt locate a car in my preference. Week goes by and they told me... too bad you HAVE to get a 2005 model and you'll have to wait. Went back to Ontario Mazda got my black (2nd choice) in a week.
