View Full Version : Sportline OR Tein S-tech

okay .. im about to pick up some springs .. yes its almost winter but HELL im going to do it .. i want to lower my car close to 2" around .. i picked sportline or the stech. now on your suggestions, which of the two are best? and that will have less tire ware. which of these two will keep my stock shocks longer. suggestions please ?

I don't think you should worry about killing your tires... Its more like, killing your shocks, struts. I had sportlines on my car before and with koni yellows, they feel like crap. So with stock struts, and shocks, your ride will be like a boat. As for teins.... they are soft as hell and they sag a lot... If i were you, i'd just get a set of tein basics coilovers. UNLESS you like your car riding like a boat.

thats what im saying ... i dont want any of that but i want springs because i cant afford coilovers ... springs are like my only option .. sigh!!!!

750 for coilovers 150 for installation / setting .. damn son . cant afford it right now .. thats why i want to go with springs first but i dont want anything with problems and or that will mess up my baby (mazda3 hatch)

alignment $100
Blown struts/shocks
New struts/shocks $650
install new struts $120
$1240.....

SSG did GB with tein basics for $1150. So you will pay $80 more for shocks and springs.
