I had someone back into my rear door a few weeks ago & after some dicking around I got his insurance info. I wanted the dent popped out & the OEM paint saved. Chris @ Auto Dent Magicians wasn't sure whether they could save all of the original paint or not. The dent went through the body line at the top & there were 2 shallow creases around the middle of the door where the bumper had made contact. They say that if the dent goes though a body line or if there's a crease in the metal it can't be repaired using paintless dent repair methods. The insurance adjuster said as much & refused to authorize a paintless dent repair until I explained that they also owned a body shop & the plan was to pop out as much as possible & use filler & paint where needed. Well after hours & hours of work you can see the end result below. All of the OEM paint was saved. They had to wet sand & buff the entire car to get the colour & shine to match. The door is now perfect again.

+1. That is excellent quality work. I'd like to know more about them also as I have a very small, but pointed dent in the drivers side rear door of my MS3. Some :AH in an SUV hit me with the corner of their door in my first week of ownership. I parked at the far end of a huge parking lot too, to no avail... :rant

Took it to the dent doctor for a quote, but the particular guy who looked at the car and quoted me, didn't seem to know shit about the MS3 or 3's in general, so i thanked him for his time and walked away.

I just got my car repaired from the guys at Auto dent magicians. Wow, I had over 50 dents in my roof and hood (hail storm) and you can't even tell. I still can't believe the job they did on my car, I am very satisfied. These guys were great to deal with, both Marco and Chris, and I would not hesitate to go back (although I hope not to have to).

Anyway, just thought I would share my experience.

Although PDR is good, it's very expensive for the type of service. They basically just push the dent out using hooks/angled tools. This place wants $100 for a loonie sized dent or smaller. I've seen the service done and it takes a few seconds of work to do it for a dent that small.

After joining here as I want a 2010 GT (hate new civic form)and to get some good info then read this thread on autodent magicians and thought well I have to wait a year a pick up end of year 2010 or used market to save a few bucks.

So I own a 02 Civic Si 235k(original owner, only synthetic since new) and decided to give it to them. have hail trunk and hood. Hood badly scratched as used from wreckers (hit and run) and door dings both sides. Interior a mess as I live in the car daily.

Well they did amazing job to make me want to keep car one more year. Looks great, smells better. Thanks Josh they earned my biz today and future!

Ps. yes that crome trim came with wrecker hood and I just replaced with new painted trim. Pss..tint and auto start done Audio Heaven two years ago.

it was part of package price. Was not looking to get it done. They just said we will clean it and I said knock yourself out. They had the car for 1 1\2 days.
I assume they just pressure wash it with degreaser added and then spray it with sealant after. Give em a call and ask how much to do your engine bay.

Has anyone used Auto Dent Magicians for a conventional job? I have scratches in my rear panel along with a dent where it meets the door, some scratches on the door and some on the front bumper. I've been to them, BMC and Keele for quotes and Auto Dent seems the most reasonable but I'm not sure what quality their actual body work is like (filler/paint).
