new 3 sport on the block

Hey everyone!
newbie to the forum just introducing myself.

Had my 3 for just over a month now and loving every minute i spend with her. In that time i've been lurking around and found this forum to be just the best, so thought it'd be proper time to finally sign up & be an official member.

I've got a (very slightly - 19,900 k when bought) used '06 sport GT in Copper Red fully loaded (changer/leather/moonroof) picked up from Kichener (i live in the east-end TO). I've searched everywhere for the best to replace my aging Celica GT-S liftback, and i think i've got it. Was looking at everything from a Corrolla to a used Audi & going with the 3 was the best choice I could've made. Tight driving dynamics, yet still a soft & comfortable ride, and more than ample cargo room to boot. This car was made for me. :)

anyways... i'm sure you all know all what a great car the 3 is. :chuckle

I was eyeing some A4's, early 2000-02 models without excessive millage fit in my budget. But than i had heard they had some engine problems in those years. Plus the insurance and maintance fees probably would've killed me. Love the A3's more (hatchback is the way to go :) ) but those aren't old enough to fall in my price range.

In the end I felt a nearly new 3 is better than a used audi & I don't regret it.
Looking forward to many road trips in this baby.
