I couldn't find a previous post on this. There is the "what cars you've owned" - what about fun / memorable cars you've had a chance to drive, or even drive in...
For me, some of the more memorable cars I've driven:
'84 Porsche 911 turbo
'89 Porsche 944 turbo S (probably my all-time favorite fun car to drive)
'08 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S
'92 Dodge Viper - kinda intimidating, especially since it had just rained
'86 BMW M3 - awesome car, almost snagged one a couple of years ago
'87 Toyota Supra Turbo - driven by Epi Weitzes (his own modified car - would spin wheels from 3-4 shift)
'87 VW GTI 16V - driven by an ex- pro-rally car driver - the things he could do with that car!!!
'07 Mazdaspeed 3 :) - I gotta admit, the most fun to drive car I've owned to date

1993 - Corvette. My dads, lots of torque
1999- Jeep TJ. Friends on a real off road road if you can call it that.
2007- Infiniti G35 coupe. I don't fit in well, and its a slow 300hp. but the exhaust sounds great.
2007 300c/Charger/Magnum SRT8. 300c was a friends lease return, that was fun.
2007 - Roush Stage 3 Mustang. 430hp and a super charger wine to die for.
2007 - my ms3
2008 - BMW 135i m package. nearly as quick as a fully bolted ms3.

- 2003 Corvette Z06 - 50th anniversary, had only 8k on her when I drove it in 2006. Very nice!
- 2000 Dodge Neon - Don't laugh, done SRT motor pushing about 400HP, scary becuase there were no other upgrades to suspension or brakes.
- 1969 Camaro - low 12 second 1/4 mile, think it was about 500HP, I was in highschool.
- 1987 Buick Grand National - Always loved these cars, fast and stealthy.
- 1986 Mustang GT - First one to add that was actually my own...lol, about 275HP.
- 2008.5 Mazdaspeed 3 - I have to add it, I still love driving this car and consider it awesome for everyday use!

Was the 70' Chevelle a true LS6 454?
This is one of my all time favourite muscle cars. 450HP and a boat load of torque. I am jealous.

There was a guy in town here that had 2 GN's a few years back. A '70 and an '87. The '70 was a 455 stage II and the '87 he had sent to Texas Turbo for a lot of work. Both were 10 second cars and just amazing.
I have never seen a GNX package myself, just read about them. That would be a dream to own though. If I remember correctly they weren't too different visually other than a set of black snowflake rims and badging.

Yep, just different rims and the "GNX" badge... oh, and if you ever pulled up beside one, you'd get a good look at the tail lights! Talk about turbo spooling!! Those things sound AWESOME!!!
I'll stick with my Mustangs none the less...lol

The 4S is such an amazing car isn't it - amazingly civil, blistering speed, agility, it does it all - not too showy either - even fits my 6'2" frame perfectly!

im 17 and drove a load of asome cars alredy.
the first amazing car i had ever driven was my uncles ferrari 360 spyder. paddle shift FTMFW. the sound that screamen v8 made was deadly loud.
the second car i drove was my dads 1969 camaro ss. 350 small block. my first stick car aswell. unbelivable the ferrari was fast and all but laying rubber on the road was like second nature in the camaro.
the third car i got to drive was a friends uncles z06. wow none stop back in your seat driven through every gear.
the last car i driven was a s/c ls1 2000 camaro. besides the roaring v8 the supercharger whine is god like.
keep a note that iv only had my licience a little over a year.

hmmm....this will be a tough list to come down to favourites.
'08 Audi R8 - really, really, cool!!!!:bana2
Audi A4 - definitely not stock - was a build for the show "Sports Car Revolution" - highlight 350HP in the rain while being filmed driving around the track and giving my impressions - aired on Speed
Audi RS4
BMW M5
BMW M Roadster
Lamborghini Countach
MINI John Works Cooper - The one built for the Targa Newfoundland that Jim Kenzie wrecked this year
MazdaSpeed Miata - one the track what a fun car to drive
350Z Coupe
350Z convertible - in the mountains around Las Vegas
Datsun 240Z - lots of fun till the throttle stuck wide open - amazing what happens in a 30+ year old car!
Nissan Maxima - Race Prepped
'07 Corvette
1986 Corvette Pace Car - let's just say, how fast can you get sideways in the rain
Players / GM Series Camaros -
http://www.playerschallengeseries.ca/1988_18_Pat_Cubellis.jpg
BTW - that's not me in the picture
Dodge Viper
.....plenty more and probably forgot a few
The only reason for being able to drive a lot of these awesome cars over the years (yes, I said years) is that I've been involved in the auto industry and have had the privilege to be around for a while.
Oh my, now I'm starting to feel old!!! You know your old when you get pulled over in your True Red MS3 and the police officer asks if this is your car! What, am I supposed to be driving a Buick!

I have driven a couple of porsches and a Hummer, but the most amazing car I have yet to drive would be a mint, and heavily modded 1972 Pantera DeTomaso.
Not this exact car, but just shown for a photo..
So fast it almost snapped my neck from a stand still.
Belonged to a friend of mine, he bought it used and sold it the same year, but if the opportunity popped up now, I would grab one in a heart beat.

You're a luck man Jeff.
I love the Pantara. Plagued with electrical gremlins and the like but a cool car. Ahead of it's time style wise.

Yup! It was my big brother's car, not only was it powerful but arguably the fastest of the muscle cars of the era...1/4 mile that is.:)
