repaint car? >=(

(late post) my car is a 04 mazda3 GT Hatch Black . bought i roughly 3 months ago? My dad bought it used for 9000 bucks. My dad didnt look up the car (stupidly) and just bought it straight up which didnt tell my dad much on the car. so when i got the car a few days later. (yes i know .. late post about this) i look at it .. i KNEW there was something wrong with it you can clearly tell something is wrong with it. so i went and i got a background check on it .. and guess what .. there is a ****ing accident!@#$%^& at the back right YES A ACCIDENT! ><"" . you can FULLY notice it because the guy did a SHIT ASS PAINT JOB and i FULLY noticed the difference . (it was to late) .. so i told my dad etc etc .. (looked like he cared less) .. i was like SIGH WTF! .. then i was like .. okay i can live with this .. TILL 3 week ... yes 3 weeks later a lady HIT ME ! front right .. THE SAME SIDE AS THE OTHER ACCIDENT! .. okay NOW its REALLY noticeable .. this lady RAN a STOP SIGN and NAILED me KILLING my front right. but lucky she paid for it because she didnt want me to report to her insurance or what not.. she fixed it fine but this guy did a soso job .. i give it a 8/10 .. but she fixed it .. so w.e right? i know i know i should had just brought it in myself (didnt think right at the time) .. but now .. you can FULLY notice the friggin accidentSSS. NOW i am thinking of getting my whole car repainted because every time i go out with my friends .. they all tend to ask me if i got into any accidents .. THAT HOW NOTICEABLE IT IS ! .. any suggestions on what i should do? worth a repaint? cost? SIGHHHHHHHHH !!! what back luck .. i should had posted this when it happen. (my dad got ripped off) yes i know -_-""

For $9,000, depending on mileage, I would hardly say your dad got "ripped off" if the damage was purely cosmetic.

To buy a used car, there would have been a Used Vehicle Information Pacakage (UVIP) sold with it. It would have the accident history listed there.

Why didn't you just pay extra to have the rest of the car sprayed at the time of the second accident?

Your friends ask you if you got into accidents? Who the feck cares, tell them "yeah the prior owner had one and I got hit on one other that wasn't my fault".

If you are that unhappy with the car sounds like your problem is mostly with your Dad.

I wouldn't be too pissed if my Daddy bought me a car.

the Used Vehicle Information Pacakage .. i showed the history of who owned the car .. but no accident history there .. i looked in every single paper that dude gave me .. by the way it was a private deal .. no dealership

Okay I would understand if they paint is crappy and all but hey the price you paid is a steal

none the less, how does the motor run? during driving, does the car feel stable or does it drift to one side, etc

as long as the motor runs strong then hey...thats the best part right there..good strong motor, nothing to worry about, the exterior can be fixed easily as long as you find the right person...

For a full repaint, if you are keeping it the same color, I think last time I checked was around $2200 and up....

seeing its black, just to be created and despite no one else knowing the difference cause to me the color black is black, but you can paint your car black not the same color code from a Mazda3, you can choose more expensive cars black color code (BMW M3, Audi, Lexus, etc)

the car has 110,000 kms on it right now ish .. the motor runs fine .. nothing wrong with it .. inside is fine .. everything is fine but the BODY !! the motor runs like new .. i just need to do sparkplug/oil change now.. when i drive .. that car feels normal to me .. pretty stabe with no drifts to any side. yeah i figured it was going to cost that price but i was wondering if anyone repainted there mazda 3 , how much , and where. BUT I GUESS if anything .. i can live with the body .. =T

Bought my 04 3 GT Sport with 135,000kms for $8000 privately on it because it ran good, drove better than my P5 and was a good price.... Was it in any accidents? None REPORTED! Would I say work was done? Hell yes! I can see plainly all the panels don't match, just slight shades off! I notice it every time I look at the car, but I don't care. I will paint it in the spring, and problem solved. But, for $8000, i didn't expect a perfect car. I would have paid 14K if I wanted a show car!
You get what you pay for, your dad knew it, thats why he didn't care.
