Blackout emblems

Does anyone know where to get Black emblems for the ms3. I know Street Unit sells them, but to buy the 2 M's and the Mazdaspeed 3 sign would be like $150.

DIY? It's not that hard. Did my own in my garage. hardest part is getting the emblems off. There's a thread here with a how-to I think.

Take it to a auto body shop if you want it to be top notch. I doubt it would cost anywhere near 150.

Do it yourself. Its soooooooooooooooooooooooo easy and you'll have some sense of satisfaction you did it and it only cost you $2.99 for a can of flat black paint plus some dental floss

I re-did mine and put clearcoat on them...

Looks good. Gotta redo mine too after winter. They have held up really well over the last two years with minor touch ups

Thanks, its a b***h to repaint them. so i hope they will hold up.

I just spray some flat black paint into the paint cap and use a fine tip brush.

Yeah, that is actually a very good idea....when my mazdaspeed emblem started to chip..i took it off and sanded it down and started from scratch.....i was high of the fumes of spray paint. but now i've put layers on layers of clear coat..so hopefully it will be golden.....
