sooo the car got smashed

its still drivable. i drove to work and back. buttt i parked my car. went into the mall last night (sunday) and did a few things. came out and someone smashed into my front fender and bumper. soo now its held on by ductape. ohh and my resinator went into a few pieces. now my car sounds louder:chuckle so yea had a bad few days. pics to come tomorrow:bang:bang:bang:bang

Sorry to hear this.
Maybe all not so bad as looking on the first view. Fender and bumper easy to repair or to replace.
If car's geometry is not changed, car will be as new after repair.
It takes some time to get used to this. In the next time such things are accepted more easy.
What police and insurance say? Was the car on parking place or road?
Do you know who did this? As I understand, you mean the intake resonator
and left fender.

Its truely amazing how many times ppl hit cars in parking lots and just drive away...I literally watched a lady back out of her parking spot, drive forward to leave and smash into the front of the car that was parked beside her....She drove a bit further, got out as she saw me looking at her seeing what she would do, she went to the car who luckily just had the bumber pushed down a bit and the licsense plate holder demolished....she pretty much shrugged her shoulders walked back to her car and drove away....needless to say I left the driver a note giving him the license plate of the car so he could follow up on it if he chose to....but seriously...have some guts and own up to your mistakes...

well good news and realllllly bad news. so my buddies neighbour is a tow truck driver and he knows people who do good work for cheap. so i said **** it i claim it. so with that im happy and 2 weeks later my car will be perfect *good thing too as the bumper was ****ed in the 1st place if yall remember it*. anyhow so yesterday got a rental car. guess what it was. 2009 Mazda3 GX. automatic but whatever its my car. sweet. well i left work at about 5 AM this morning after working overtime. so i jump onto guelph line from the QEW and i go up the S bend and the car hits black ice, and i end up going into the ditch. car is a write off so i gotta claim this shit too. god how bad is my luck right now.. BAH

i hope you're alright, i honestly do...but i hate to say that there is now a very high probability that your insurance will drop you at your next renewal...or raise your rates through the roof.

a hit and run in a parking lot is loosely considered an 'at fault claim' if you didn't report it to a Collision Reporting Centre before contacting insurance (there have been too much insurance fraud from 'hit and runs' in parking lots).

hitting black ice and smashing the car is, unfortunately, an 'at fault claim' as well.

2 'at fault claims' in such a short time and you're now considered high risk.

when i hit the black ice with the rental car i went right into a ditch, hit a rock hit a tree. i messed the tranny pan pretty damn good. cop agreed with the black ice at the scene. that was good. i was shaking, my back hurts now. im sore as hell. the only good thing is it was not my car. man i am having the worst luck on the week my parents are away on vacation.. wow

yea i never got charged by the cop at the scene of the accident. he was reallly good about it. i was fortunate to get a really nice cop like the one i did in halton. and thats somewhat rare lol. the rental car company just called me. im good. they were just worried i got hurt. so so far its doing pretty good as far as how my worry level went in 12 hour span. you should see the car. nice few holes in the tranny pan, broke the axle, bumper, fender. cars a write off. simple as that.
