Like the title says, anyone know any good places for Dim Sum in the Steeles/404 area? Cart service (my son thinks it's cool and besides, it's the only time it's okay to point in a restaurant!) :)
Been to the old Furama House on Steeles/Yonge, there's a place on Woodbine East side of road around Steelcase that is alwas packed, another just north of that on West side of road (I don't remember names, I just let my nose do the finding).

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! :pop

(Also, anyone know of any really crappy places for Dim Sum (so i know to stay away!) :chuckle

P.S. I did a Dim Sum search already, the last thread was over a year and a half old - many places may not still be around...

For push carts, they are rare: on the high-end, Pearl Harbour @ Queens Quay terminal...and on the reasonable end, Sheppard/Kennedy, northeast corner, in the basement...

otherwise, I'd recommend Royal Tea House @ Woodbine/Applecreek in Markham...no carts tho...

Thanks!
Pearl is very good - we usually try to have the parents take us!!!

Why aren't we dim-summing it up for the TM3 dinner?

Epic fail.

There is one on Bur Oak and McCowan, that mall there (With the Sobey's and TD), the Chinese restaurant there (forgot the name) is found to have cockroaches in it. Stay away...

But you said dinner... Lunch makes a lot more sense...:chuckle

The only Dim Sum I know with Push Carts is the restaurant behind Pacific Mall. Long line ups though.

Downtown, I like Rol San (Spadina, north of Dundas). No Push Cart, but food is good & reasonable price.
