well i had fun yesterday. then the cops came :chuckle. apparently they got a call about a noise complaint and found me doing donuts in a parking lot. they let me off cuz they remember doing stuff like that. which was sweet. so i went home.

and thats how the end of my night went.... and this morning driving around town....

too much fun for me friday....today when i went to get in my car, my breaks were frozen solid...haha it took quite a bit to break them loose as the wheels were packed up with snow....a quick easy $3 at the coin op.....and i was good to go!!!

We had a big snowfall in Montreal too the other day so I've been...err...taking advantage of it when I have the chance in a deserted parking lot. :chuckle

ya'll dont know what drifting is! lol. the only problem driving an rx8 around is you absolutly cant even think about drifting on the streets. you have to drive like a little old lady(and the back end still swings out now and then), but in open parking lots i can do donuts and drifts all day long, effortlessly and i never touch the ebrake...well, sometimes, just to remember what FWD was like. haha. but i do sort of miss FWD. you get away with so much in a FWD car and i was getting so good at left foot braking. took a friend out for a rip in my old lancer ralliart and he asked me if the car was RWD because of how i was making it drift without the ebrake. but its better this way, i was getting cocky and im sure was on my way to an accident. now i have to be so careful all the time. cant wait for the snow to go away so i can hit 9000rpm again and here the beep. plus, the bonus of having a car that handles so well sort of goes to s*** once theres snow on the ground. lol.

I can't get enough of drifting on side roads. I have a couple rules for myself though. No drifting with parked cars/pedestrians near, and if dark, headlights in front or back of me is a no go.. Couple of times it actually was a cop. Dodged madddd bullets

you just get used to the road conditions, how much speed you have, how far side ways the speed will take you, and all that.

if im drifting to a side road on the left, i start drifting a bit before the turn starts.
9.9/10, it's a near perfect drift.
and the trick, is to watch for headlights while doing this, so that you dont drift into an oncoming car.
