A computer technician I knew..his beast of a machine was chugging at like 20 fps lol. I think its fixed by now. ... hopefully.

I have it at 1440x900 res and highest video quality and draw distance settings it will let me and it doesn't lag at all. My friend said my quad core overclocked CPU is helping a lot because GTA 4 takes a lot of CPU power for all the game physics and is supposed to be optimized for quad core as well as dual core. It loads all 4 cores anywhere from 50-80%. I've been playing COD 4 and 5 a lot lately and they only load up maybe 20-25% CPU usage accross all 4 cores.
