Just curious if anyone follow's 24? Half of the season premier was last night, any thoughts?

I watched it. Pretty good so far. I already saw up to episode 4 so I am waiting until next week! Its going to take a huge turn and most of you won't see it coming!

Yeah I watched the first 2 hours last night and I LOVED IT!! I'm a huge 24 fan so I'm just happy to have the show back after a 2 year freaking hiatus! Man that was ridiculous to wait that long.

Anyway...some holes and a few weak spots (for example, Jack just happens to get out of the car to get some 'air' at the perfect time and at the perfect place and spots the shooter exiting the building because he is wearing a pair of timberland's? A little too fortuitous if you ask me).

But 24 always makes up for any weak spots with it's amazing action scenes and non-stop adrenaline rushes and plot twists.

Can't wait for the next 2 hours tonite!!

Awesome so far. Huge 24 fan as well.

I'll be honest, ever since season 3...the show has been very inconsistent. It'll have its really high highs, and them some mediocre moments (which are still good but the drop you feel as a viewer from the high high makes it seem very bad) .

I have high hopes for this season as 24 feels "fresh" this time. A lot of changes, and a lot of new angles and a lot of potential they can play with. I hope the season can sustain the momentum through and not have the mild-disaster of the previous few.

yeah it was a long time coming!

watched hour 3 and 4 last night and that was great too. Tony and Jack back together in the field with Chloe and Bill running Ops! Just like good ol times at CTU.

How about when Jack almost killed Tony in the interogation room. Classic Jack Bauer!!!!!!

I worked late last night and got home after 8:30, being the hardcore fan I am I didn't spoil anything and waited until 11pm to watch it starting up on Fox-Seattle. I love time-shifting. As for the show itself this year I do hope it'll be non-stop edge-of your seat action. I don't know why others didn't like the last 2 seasons but I did and this new one is starting of great.

Also, does anyone remember if they showed the Taylor's son's death in Redemption as I can't recall much besides Jon Voight being there. How did he die again though?

Last night was definitely kick ass. As far as I know, they didn't show Taylor's death, I think they just said he died at the beginning of hour 1 and is said to have commited suicide but was offed by the government for knowing something was up with the funding of the militia in Africa. This season is so hype, can't wait for next week already!
