Carpool Parking [Archive]

Hey everyone. I need a hand with something. I currently live right downtown (Yonge/Lakeshore) and I work up in Newmarket (Davis/404). A coworker of mine is thinking of moving to the Yonge/Eg area, and I was wondering if anyone knew of somewhere that it is possible, hopefully free and preferably legal, to park a car for the day. We want to carpool, but I have been unable to find any lots on the MOT website along the DVP, in and around the Eglinton/Lawrence area. If anyone can shed some light on this for me, that would be great! Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the advice. I've thought about that, but that'll add about 25 minutes of commute to my drive every day, which isn't really that good, considering I already have a 45 minute commute... The drive time is basically the same from my place and Yonge/Eg...

He's hoping to live along the subway line, which is far off of the DVP. We're hoping to find a place where I can hope off the highway and hop back on easily. We're even looking up at the Sheppard area, but the only thing we can find is the TTC lot at Sheppard/401, and it's not really a great carpool lot.

TTC FTW!!!:bana i honestly think its the cheapest way to travel and its better because you don't have to be stuck in traffic like most people

TTC is still reliable if you're going along that route.

Accidents and stupidness could happen during your drive up. TTC always works. Unless someone jumps off the platform and splatters all over, and ttc calls it "technical delay"

Fairview's Lot. Before 9:30 (or 10?) $3 ..after that its free.
