Hiya, I have a question. My wife has always come with me to the hyundai meets cuz she's a serious car chick. HOWEVER, she is ALWAYS the only female and I feel horrible if she kinda sits on the sidelines. How many ladies attend the meets on average?. Is there a female membership at all. I gotta be honest Twila(my wife) knows a heck of a lot more about anything automotive than a lot of men I know. She just understandably feels a tad awkward. So how many other car chicks are there with 3's???.

Well, I can't say that there is a serious contingent of females at our meets if any at all. But I can tell you that we go out of our way to be inclusive. We have members kids that show up and a few pets as well. Have her come out.

We promise not to embarrass her.

I think you will find there are quite a few on this site and they are quite knowledgeable. (More so than me that's for sure!!).

but I will let them present themselves. :)

it's not really who has 3's either. There are 2 that i know of that go to them but somtimes us guys will bring the wives/gfs .. I personally dont bring mine anymore simply because its just rude to leave your girl in the car.. Just as you wouldnt want to attend to a girls night out meet.

Can I just say that if you do bring your wife/girlfriend to a meet and decide to leave her in the car that it makes good sense to crack the window open a bit for some air.

Carry on....

maybe even 2 windows so you can create a bit of a cross-draft for them!

So thoughtful!!

Sometimes it's good to do activities WITHOUT the gf/wife. Every heard of that lifestyle?

Nope, don't bother bringing the wifey as she'll be bored within minutes. She likes modded cars however I can't see her standing around talking about cars all night lol.

not to talk about your man tips but uh, why down talk your girl. I'm sure she doesn't want the whole community to know how inexperienced she is with cars.. just my 2 cents, dont want no trouble now :chuckle

I say bring her out! If she's as car savvy as you say she might just enjoy herself!! ...but you might want to wait till the warm weather hits again, people don't spend too much time standing around thier cars in these temps.

I'm a female member and I plan on being pretty active in the community this year. I have only been to one meet as of yet but I'm planning on coming out a lot more this year.

It also helps when my bf is a Mazda 3 owner too. lol :chuckle:blush
