Has anyone with an aftermarket deck filled the hole where the LCD was and re painted it? I'm planning on installing a 2DIN navi unit and I am not sure what to do about the LCD. I don't have auto climate controls so all It would show is the clock and the outside temp. I think it would look silly to have a big screen with a couple little numbers in each corner. If it's been done, any pics?

Thanks

no, I was thinking more of fiberglassing/bondoing over the hole to make it flush and then re-painting the strip.

I don't have pics, but myself and several others members, have the strip filled and wrapped in Caron Fiber. Search around the site, and I'm sure you will find pictures.

did you send him your cores? He doesn't buy new parts and wrap them, he takes your existing parts, and wraps them.
