Sirius Sat radio installation

Hey guys my g/f got me a Sirius Satellite radio unit and I'm just wondering if any of you have ever installed one of these in your 3. I'm thinking that removal of the head unit is involved. I would attempt doing this on my own in my old car, however seeing as it is really cold right now and the trim surrounding the head unit will most likely be brittle and prone to braking, I just wanted to find out if any of you had done this and if you had any tips.

I would definitely be up for that, I saw a couple of short vids on how to do the install, however wasn't impressed with how they ran the wiring through the car.. I want it to look neat and proper.

I've installed one of those plug and play units in my car; I haven't done the install for the Mazda OEM unit, though I would imagine most of the steps are similar.

I'm still using the 12V plug to power the unit; I haven't actually tapped the line yet. I'll see if I can make the meet you guys set up.
