You Would Never Believe It Was Possible...

Story 1 - Angela’s Side:
Scott and I started talking about a week prior to the Holiday Dinner. He had added me to MSN since I was another west end member and he wanted to let me know about everything that has happened in the west end land of TM3. During this time we really started to click as friends and we got along very well. There was never a dull moment during our conversations.

Then came the day of the holiday dinner. I almost could not come as I found myself without any money to afford dinner for the night. I was really looking forward to it and was in the process of telling everyone who was expecting me for the night that I could not make it out. One of those people was Scott. He graciously offered to pay for my meal that night so I could attend. It was at this very moment that I started to develop feelings for him. A stranger who barely knew me offered to pay for my food just so he could meet me and I could attend my first event. I was touched.

The night at the dinner proved pivotal too. We spent the whole night talking and being around one another. The very next day we decide to spend some more time together just the two of us. That was it. We were hooked.

A month and a half later, I stand before you my friends and peers on TM3 stating this story to you. Scott means a lot to me and although we have already had some issues we have overcome them stronger and more in love because of it.

Just like our Mazdas our love is something beautiful and unique not to be reckoned with. I have a lot of thank you's to give to this forum but the biggest one is for bringing Scott into my life and to share this adventure with me.

Story 2 - Scott’s Side:
I have been a member on TM3 for quite some time and have come to realize some very important things since being here. Everyone I have ever met or come in contact with has been truly amazing, helpful and brought something unique and special to this club. We’ve come together to create a “TM3 Community” unlike any other. Mixed personalities and our common goal to make people feel welcome. Since day one of joining this club I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting other members and learning more about Mazda in general. It all starts with a friendly atmosphere and I have extended the same courtesy and respect that i was given when i was a “noobie” on the forums and local meets.

Some of you might recollect that a recent “TM3 Holiday Dinner” occured, at which i was very pleased to have a new member by my side, which a lot of you know by “She_Prime” on the forums. This first meeting struck a very nice chord with both Angela & I and shortly after ensued a very special and remarkable relationship between us, inspired by TM3. Since that time, we have shared many special moments together and i cant help thinking to myself “how ironic that the same place that brought me so many friendships and fun, would also lead to me finding a special person to share my life with.” I know that some of my close friendships on TM3 already know about our relationship, but we both felt it would be reminiscent of the whole TM3 Community atmosphere that has been created and maintained by it’s fellow members to let you into our little world. I hope to share many more moments with Angela as well as the TM3 Community as both have become a very important part of my life.

Like Jaimie said, if i DID own a Canadiens hat, I would probably burn it right away! As much as i like the "battle of canada" though, my true hatred shines when facing the Ottawa Senators! Habs I gotta give them credit and like watching them play (when Leafs aren't playing ofcourse)... couldn't be happier with Grabovski either (or "Grabby" as i call him)... although it is disgusting the other night to see him get "boo'd" everytime he touched the puck...

My 3 is staying since I need a good daily driver for my Nursing commute. Scott may upgrade to a 6 for his daily driver and the CX-9 or 7 will be for the family outings and trips.

And don't worry Jaimie I won't be hitting anything (other than Scott :chuckle) in the next little while.

oh btw, it's like this (so far this is what we decided)...

CX-9/7 = long trips and weekend excursions
Auto 3 = Angela's daily driver
My sexy 3 = "fun summer car" and will be put up on blocks for winter cuz no way im getting rid of her :)
Mazda 6 (speed?) = manual tranny (have to teach Angela) and this will be my daily driver, ofcourse likely will be driving Angela's car more than this one since she LOVES IT!

I think this would likely happen within the next 1-2 years... :)

Sigh...yes they did. I was at that game with my buddy Chris (who is originally from Mississauga) so he is obviously a big leafs fan. We went to the last Habs-Leafs game in Montreal in early January when the Habs won big time but the Leafs got us back pretty good on Saturday night! Had to have a few beers after the game to drown my sorrows. :chuckle

Just wanted to add (after careful consideration) that CX-9 is more of a "large family for children under 6 years old" vehicle thanks to it's middle and rear seats that are too small for anyone over that age, unfortunately. Also, having now driven (thanks Oakville Mazda) the CX-7, it is not only spacious, but plenty of power under the hood!
