Finally saw this on Top Gear the other day. It's already availble but very limited and you can only get one if you live in Southern California as those are the only areas with Hydrogen re-fueling stations. I belive Hydrogen will be the future over electric cars.

it also takes god only knows how long depending on the stations technology to fill the car.. and sometimes, only certified people can fill the tank for you..
and seriously, i love the idea of hydrogen cars, but who the heck wants to be sitting on top of something under that much pressure?
they say its illegal to have a nitrous kit installed, filled and operable in a motor vehicle because it can cause a catastrophe in an accident or anything of the like(the shit is safe if used and stored properly), but they want us to drive with hydrogen under our asses?
yea, right.. maybe not for another 10 or 15 years..

What??!! I've seen demonstrations of the fueling process and it is much safer and easier then what we currently use, plus it takes approximately the same time to fill a tank completely.

As for the tanks; they have gone thru rigorous testing, they've even dropped these things from 100m, shot at them, impacted them into walls at 60kph...now think about it, would they really pass these off "IF" they were not safe? ...I doubt it highly.

Hydrogen is by far the best 'Future Option' they have today until they can make huge strides in battery and re-generation technologies.

Hydrogen is the most abundent element, it can be produced from so many different sources and is safe enough that they use it in submarines, submerged for months already!!.

It's not perfect, as the process of making hydrogen in most cases still produces green house gases but it's the best bet going at the moment.

It'll take time before we see Hydrogen fuel stations at every corner but it'll happen before you think in a lesser sense!

My 2c :)
