Are 07-09 mazda3 rotors/pads same as 04-06?

Is a difference is the rear pads, but it's not for 07. There's a cut off date sometime in the 2005 model year where they switched the rear pads. The original ones had wire clips on the back to clip to the piston, the new ones had a wire spring on top.

Rotors are the same from 04-09. Difference is between the size of 2.3L and 2.0L front rotors.

Oh, one more thing I shoulda posted the first time, both types of rear pads will fit on any Mazda 3. Calipers didn't change, so either one works.

Not to mess this thread...but will the 2.3 rotors fit a 2.0...im planning on putting on big wheels and tires and i hear this has an effect.....so just want to make sure im doing it safely...may be a good idea to upgrade the brakes...

Rear rotors are the same, AFAIK, could be wrong on that. The front rotors are larger for the 2.3L version.
