Brakes need replacing and I think I'm going to by something nice....was looking at the brembo big brake kit? Heard you need new rims. Anyone done this?

Can someone suggest something a little more....affordable?

Thanks!

How about a set of Mazdaspeed3 calipers and rotors? It'll be cheaper to buy and maintain. Not exactly "nice", but should improve on an already impressively performing system that the GT is equipped with.

im pretty sure you could run brembos on stock 17" snowflakes minimum, or upgrade to Speed3 calipers and rotors

Blank rotors and HPS pads. You won't need any more and it'll be less than $400 for parts.

Seriously, the braking system in this car is quite good already, don't need to go crazy and completely swap it out.

Just to clarify, do you want to replace the pads, rotors and calipers or just rotors and pads?
