What would everyone do if they won $48 million from Saturdays draw?

I personally would buy a few houses in Miami and LA that are on foreclosure, and see what whips I can buy from Repo Depo places in the states :chuckle

Oh, and yes, share amongst family :)

2 or 3 houses in different countrys with the toys in the driveways. A plane to get me to my island and back and when Im not using that, I would use my huge ass boat. Travel the world for about a year to see all the countrys I have always been curious about. Give some to family and friends and the list goes on and on!

10% off the top to charity.

invest 2-3m in an interest earning account so that you have about $100k a year of interest salary since that'd be sweet.

carve off 10m for ourselves, give the rest away to friends and family.

with that 10m i'd get a summer vacation home on the ocean front in NS, PEI or something like that, a nice home somewhere in the area but still close to good schools for our kids. take some sweet vacations, and get a dream car or two

there is no way you have the winning numbers when I have them. :gone

The cars/house/island/small plane is a given, but be realistic...a gulfstream IV costs well over $50 mil...so a single prop 4-seater will do, with modern simple avionics...

I'd invest $20 mil to build a race track around Toronto, along with other investors. My family will have the concession rights.

Also prolly spend another $20 mil investing in art and cars.

Buy out all the mortgages in the family. Create my own scholarship somewhere. Retire and do charity work in my fields of interest. Giving away money is a pain in the ass, esp. when the come back and ask for more.

Then I suggest you don't have kids :chuckle

Already have kids, my workplace has 200+ employees and just about every other week there someone fundraising. I'd rather just set up an annual field trip fund for my kids during their time at the school(~$20k/year for the class so no parents have to fundraise).

Then I'd set aside money for my parents.

The rest goes in the bank.

Then I'll buy a few Heart & Stroke Lottery tickets every year.

id put 100K in the 3 keep it as a summer car.. for a winter car buy a mazdaspeed3 09. buy a new house pay off my debts. pay off my parents house and their cars. then id put 10 mil in RRSP's and go to the LCBO and clear them out and go to a convenience store and buy a lotta cigarettes.. yea im good lol

Pay off debts and family mortgage.
Buy a car and a house for each of my 5 brothers from different mothers.
Get a house and an Audi A3 Sportback.
Snowboard around the world (mostly heliboarding) and new gear.

I love elderly people so I would love to create a program that helps elderly people that are living independently but maybe need help with other things like paying hydro and NG. If some of you remember that 90 year old veteran in Michigan that died of hypothermia because they hydro company cut off his power. He actually had $400,000 to his name.

Rip around Europe for a few months with the bf while visiting our families in Croatia, Germany and Poland.

If I can live and not die of a heartattack from winning that much money.

I'd buy some sick cottages/property side by side, a wakeboard boat, and few sea-doos so all my pals can party it up in the summer in style. A condo downtown, a house out westright at the base of whistler or revelstoke, a gallardo, and i'd move my parents into a sweet house as well, give my broski some money, and of course some to my friends so they can be happy. Then change my number.. quit my job, tell my boss off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

then TRAVEL THE WORLD and paaaaaaaaaaaaaaarty!

I would make the biggest scene in history as i quit my job :) 2) buy a house somewhere warm close to a beach 3) give some away to family and charity 4) invest the rest and live off the interest. Sadly my ticket didn't have the winning #'s :( oh wells theres always next time :P
