I know it is a little more money then most starters but I went with the Mazda unit. It was 450...but I found all the other remote cheesy.

I would recomend the Mazda OEM remote starter, I can install them anyone is looking...
I think it also depends if you have an automatic or manaul. The manual is more money.
I don't think that you can get the mazda remote start ifs you have a manual tranmission

I have a compustar car alarm/starter for my manual 2009 mazda3 Sedan and my 2008 mazdaspeed3. Each cost me $500 including install, power locks, trunk release, etc.
But this is in Calgary, dunno about Toronto pricing.

Would anyone know how to re-program the remote starter so you can start the car with a flip mazda keys? I've read it on M3F and its done...
