Just wondering how many people out their like KFC or Popeye's Chicken. I am really torn cause I have a friend who can't get enough fried Chicken. He (who will remain nameless) thinks that they are both the same.
The post-off is on...KFC vs Popeye's in a sudden death match...who will come out on top.

Anyways, sadly enough I've never gotten to try Popeye's so can't comment on that.

This thread needs to be moved unless someone (*cough* Phil *cough*) is driving around on a drumstick.
But there's a big difference i find. Popeyes has the crispier skin, but KFC has the soft skin.
My preference? KFC!

Not that i like to clog my arteries on a daily basis, but if i had to choose between heart attack food i would pick popeyes... everyone needs a bit of spice!

I ordered a three piece combo over a month ago and when I checked to confirm my order (drive through), they were three of smallest pieces of chicken.....ever. Thought they gave me quail! :bang
Turned back into the drive through and asked for a refund. A manager came over and I showed them the thigh piece which was smaller than the wing. Said that this is unacceptable for a meal that cost over $9.00 with taxes in.
He then asked what I would take instead of a refund and I asked for three more pieces. Six chicken pieces later I drove off vowing never to return to a KFC.
My first choice would be Mary Brown's Fried Chicken then Popeye's. Church's would be there if it were still sold here.

and gotta say i love mary browns. have had the luxury of having a mary browns near my home since i was a young teenager.
kfc: after eating i feel like death
popeyes: great taste, not as greasy, big peices: but still feel like death
mary browns: great taste, not as greasy, big peices but not as big as popeyes, but do not feel like death after....
the taters at mary browns is awesome too!
