Hey folks,
Recently under light breaking I have been getting a noise coming from my back left side. I took it to a shop that my friend goes to and he is under the impression that it is because the rotor may be warped so it needs to be shaved down. Do you guys think Mazda would cover this under warranty as an irregularity? It's pretty annoying because the car is so new and it if I am taking on-ramps with a bit of speed it feels like the wheel is going to fall off :bang . Any help would be greatly appreciated!

why not just go to or call your dealer and ask them? You'd probably get a quicker response.

Minor adjustments are covered for 12 months or 12,000 kms. (I think). Brakes should last at least that long

Brakes are in general 1 year or twenty thousand. There is some wiggle room in the warped rotors though, you may be able to get it covered if you are outside the time if you are not a jerk about it.
